An Expanding Mission
AEE Solar, founded in 1979 as Alternative Energy Engineering by David Katz, our founder and CEO, began with the goal of bringing renewable, non-polluting power to homes and businesses in our foothills community in the northern California coastal redwood region. Over the years our vision and scope have steadily expanded, together with the technological advances and rapid growth of the renewable energy industry itself.
Today we sell exclusively wholesale, shipping reliable, proven products and providing expert technical support to renewable energy resellers, contractors, integrators and installers in North America and around the world. We also sell to RV, marine and other specialty dealers; many types of OEMs (original equipment manufacturers); and industrial and government remote power users.

AEE provides everything needed to design, install, upgrade and maintain renewable energy power systems. We sell solar, wind and micro-hydroelectric systems and equipment, including hard-to-find parts nobody else carries. We sell and help engineer systems for residential, commercial, industrial, mobile and specialty applications. We also provide diverse water-pumping and DC-powered devices, plus lighting, refrigeration and other appliances geared for remote and alternatively powered needs. Whether your customers are on the grid or have applications that require remote power, our staff can help you deliver the right solution.
